LOOP for Events & Conferences

Events & Conferences bring people together to learn, connect, and share ideas. They can also be intense environments—busy schedules, loud spaces, bright lights, crowded rooms, and complex social dynamics.
Not everyone experiences events the same way.
LOOP for Events & Conferences is designed to support participants during the event itself, while also helping organizers learn what’s working and where barriers may exist.
Why LOOP at Events & Conferences?
Event organizers care deeply about creating welcoming, inclusive experiences. And even with the best intentions, some things can be hard to see from the organizer’s perspective.
LOOP helps by:
- Offering participants a confidential way to share experiences in real time
- Supporting people who may feel overwhelmed, excluded, or unsure where to turn
- Helping organizers understand patterns so future events can be even stronger
This is about care, learning, and thoughtful planning—not blame or incident management.
What LOOP includes for Events & Conferences
1) Confidential participant feedback
Participants can share experiences related to exclusion, unfair treatment, inequity, or barriers to participation through a short, confidential form.
LOOP does not ask for identifying information.
This gives organizers insight into:
- Moments that may have gone unnoticed
- Environmental or structural barriers
- Recurring themes that affect participant experience
2) Optional one-on-one support conversations
Some participants may prefer to talk things through rather than write them down.
LOOP can include the option for participants to book a confidential conversation with a DEI professional from Inclusive Kind during or shortly after the event.
These conversations are:
- Supportive and confidential
- Focused on listening and sense-making
- Not investigative or disciplinary
They can help participants feel heard, grounded, and supported—without placing the burden back on event staff.
3) The LOOP Lounge (optional)
Many conferences are loud, bright, and socially demanding. For some participants, this can be overwhelming.
The LOOP Lounge is a designated quiet, safe space at the event where participants can:
- Step away from noise and stimulation
- Sit quietly and regulate
- Speak with a DEI professional if support is needed
The LOOP Lounge signals that the event has been thoughtfully designed with different needs in mind.

How it Works
- LOOP is integrated into your event materials via a dedicated landing page, link, and QR code.
- Participants can submit confidential feedback or book a support conversation if that option is included.
- Inclusive Kind reviews submissions to identify themes and patterns.
- After the event, organizers receive a summary focused on learning and improvement.
Reporting is always aggregated and anonymized.
What Organizers Receive
After the event, organizers receive:
- A summary of key themes and patterns
- Insight into participant experience beyond surveys
- Practical considerations to strengthen future events
This information can support planning, accessibility, programming, and communication decisions.

What LOOP is Not
To keep expectations clear, LOOP is not:
- A complaint or investigation process
- A replacement for event codes of conduct or reporting channels
- A way to identify or discipline individuals
LOOP is a learning and support tool designed to reduce blind spots and improve event experiences.
Why Inclusive Kind?
Inclusive Kind brings deep experience in workplace inclusion, accessibility, and human-centered design.
We understand the realities of events and conferences—and the responsibility organizers carry to create environments where people can fully participate.
LOOP was created to support that responsibility in a thoughtful, practical way.
