Organizational DEI Maturity Assessment
Is your organization committed to DEI, but struggling to see tangible progress in this area?
Perhaps you’ve conducted some training here and there, established various employee resource groups, or even formed a DEI committee – yet the impact feels elusive.
Oftentimes, while these types of efforts have well-meaning intentions, this type of ad hoc effort can make DEI feel more like a box-checking exercise, and may not genuinely resonate with employees or address an organization’s real core DEI challenges.
We can help. Our Organizational DEI Maturity Assessment is a comprehensive service designed to evaluate and enhance your organization’s DEI efforts through two crucial steps.
Invest in your DEI efforts with confidence. Contact us today and let’s make impactful progress together.
How to Talk About Race at Work
Workplaces are more diverse now than ever before.
With an increasingly diversified workforce comes the need for increased understanding and empathy, as well as the ability to navigate difficult conversations about identity. That is where this micromodule comes in.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify common barriers and concerns that may prevent open conversations about race at work
- Understand why discussing race and racism in the workplace is essential for fostering inclusion
- Identify strategies to navigate and respond to difficult conversations about race
- Explain the three social agreements recommended by Maila Lazu to foster productive conversations about race
- Understand the difference between “calling in” and “calling out” during difficult conversations
- Define the concept of “colourblindness” and explain why it is harmful
Inclusion Through Play
In a rapidly evolving world, the need for inclusion has never been more apparent. Traditional approaches to fostering inclusive behaviours have fallen short, leaving us with an intention-action gap. Our solution, the "Inclusion Through Play" workshop, addresses this gap through Guided Play, a science-based learning model that ensures essential leadership soft skills are not only understood, but applied, in the context of each participant’s work setting.
Trans 101: Allyship Through Education
Workplaces are more diverse now than ever before. Statistics Canada suggests the Canadian workforce is going to become more diverse across nearly all demographic categories in the near future.
With an increasingly diversified workforce comes the need for increased understanding and empathy. While we often talk about racial diversity in the workplace, this course sheds light on a group that is not as often looked at: the LGBTQ2S+ community and — specifically, within that — the transgender community.
